How to find a freelancer

April 29, 2010 by: admin

If you’re a webmaster, one thing is for sure – you are going to work with an awful lot of people if you work in the web industry for any length of time. I’ve been running websites for about five years now and I think I have probably worked alongside more than one hundred different people.

The reason is that you are bound to work in different niches, and if you have anything about you, you will employ people who have skills that are particular to the niche within which you are working. If I want some content written for a sports dedicated site, I will hire a sports writer, not a generic writer who likes to spread his talents thinly. I believe that by doing this, my sites tend to have real quality about them, and this shows in the monetisation that I achieve.

The downside? Plenty of time finding the right people for the job! This aspect of my job improved recently, however. I was fortunate enough to come across a site which advertises freelancers for a variety of job sets and niches. This meant that I could simply head over to the site, look through a long list of people who believed they were experts in a particular field, and take my pick! This has meant that time after time I have been able to quickly source great quality workers who are keen to take on freelance work in whatever niche I am working in.
